I’m searching for a performative translation into movement and
sound collages to give our green co-inhabitants an audible voice, thus pointing and thus draw attention to the interconnectedness of human behaviour with all organisms of the terrestrial ecosystem.
Whether with clicking sounds or the sound of jasmine odours – it is worth taking the smell of essential oils seriously and to prick up your ears. In a highly complex system of chemical and mechanical signals, plants can
plants can pass on information about their environment and their
experience to other plants and protect them from warning them of herbivores, drought or pathogens.
So what can humans learn from them? What happen if we listen and take their smme seriously? What if they tell us about scorching heat and polluted soils?
