In the Long Durational Performance … at 40 degrees I first thaw! a body tries to embrace itself. A body that explores which sweater warms it lovingly and which takes the air it needs to breathe. Getting dressed and undressed over and over again. Applying one protective layer after the other. weaving in. In as many sweaters as possible. Transforming into another being.
Meanwhile, viewers can listen to an audio collage through headphones: a tapestry of sounds that deals with hugs, social distancing, oxytocin and the memory of touch.
