In The Thing That’s Killing Me Glitch AG climbs, storms, and revolts against a world of things, structures and spaces which alarmingly often fail to include women*; from mobile phone sizes, missing public toilets to lacking research regarding heart attacks, or deadly rather than life-saving airbags.

In a performance without text and language, three performers of Glitch AG  non-verbally renegotiate the relations between the things and their bodies. They dive into a surreal world of sizes, shapes, colours and materialities, get stuck in impractical fashion and struggle with the antagonists to female* bodies. Climbing, shifting, layering, plodding and rethinking leads to a choreography of things, exposing their everyday inadequacy. At the same time, a live-soundtrack comprising voice, various instruments and sounds unfolds in the space.

Taking the absurdity of our patriarchal world to the extremes, divulging this injustice and taking the performative power of things seriously, a new world that is both by and for her* emerges.
